Internally fried battery? Puts out ~12V, enough to light everything up, but
can't handle any real current.

If you turn the headlights on while the car is off do they go on dim or
cause every to go black?

Bring the car someplace and have the battery load tested.

Either that or else the battery was discharged when you jumped it and it
didn't charged enough when you shut off the car. Did you hook it up to a
charger?

Ummm.... I'll take a wild guess and say: The battery is bad. Replace it.

Agree 100% with Bill 2. Battery won't deliver current because of internal
damage. Take the car, or just the battery, to a local AutoZone and they
will load test it and/or replace it (for a nominal fee of course).

Hey just a guess. I had the same problem on a 2000 Doge Neon. My problem
was when I inserted the key, everything would crank up, except the car. My
fix, had a corroded starter cilanoid.
