Default Racing Game Videos

Sort of a hobby of mine, but if you're interested in what a game
you don't own actually looks like in action these should interest you.
Some of these are multi-view videos (like a cockpit view on top
and chase view on the bottom, in the case of GPL, Greg Stewart at Rouen).

The standards like GPL, F1C99-02, NR2003,PTA mod, GTP mod, GTR are
there as well as the popular and not so popular arcade and budget race
games. Even the cheaper games were fun. Need For Speed series live
up to their name with a really good impression of ludicrous speed.

One surpise for a budget racer was Ford Racing 2. Suspension movement
is a bit exaggerted, but it makes for a cool view when you can see
the body roll while running a lap. It also has some cool video effects.

Mercedes Benz World Racing is cool in that the landscapes are full
3d and you can go off track and drive anywhere on them. Like taking
your car onto a ski jump. It also has a simulation -> arcade slider
setting that just increases power and grip as you go towards 100%
arcade mode. The feel stays about the same, but the pace gets insane,
like going almost 250mph in the CLK GTR.

Toca Race Driver 2 has a decent following. In addition to good online
play, the offline career mode was like a mini movie which was cool.

I also have links to other videos like a radio control glider doing
229mph dynamic soaring.

It's just a text and link web site, no ads, counters, ...
