Everyone has their opinion. I too was disappointed by GT4 in that
it was only pretty much GT3 with more cars and tracks. In absolute
terms, it is the best in the series. But they didn't raise the bar
much.

I admit I never finished GT4 whereas I did GT3, so that might be
taken to mean I didn't like it as much. I did finish PGR2 (loved
it) and Forza as well. But PGR2 is a too different animal than
GT/Forza for a direct comparison. Suffice to say I bought all and
consider them well worth it. And for the sim-inclined, PGR2 would
likely lag the pack.
