MP3 ready ?
I've tried everything to get it to play MP3's as files, showing the name,
artist, etc. as the manual shows, without any luck. I know I can burn them to CD's and it works, but I was hoping for more. Anyone know what / If I'm doing something incorrectly?. Bose 7-speaker headend, standard in a 2K6 GT.... -- I work for the ILEC ...." stuff happens! " |

All it takes to play MP3 CDs on the 2006 MX-5 is that you 1) have the changer since the regular head does not play MP3s 2) copy the MP3 files to the CD, in subdirectories if you desire to group them 3) make sure that the session is closed when you finish burning. If you want to see the artist etc then you need to apply the appropriate ID3 tags to the files before burning. -- John McGaw [Knoxville, TN, USA] http://johnmcgaw.com |

Are you saying you need the 6 CD changer, or MP3's won't function in the MP3 mode ? And thanx 4 the prompt response John McGann close but no cigar, John !!! 2) copy the MP3 files to the CD, in > subdirectories if you desire to group them 3) make sure that the session > is closed when you finish burning.
