Civic wiper problem????
99 Civic EX, 5 speed, 80,000 miles.
The wipers started acting up yesterday and they would not shut off. Now they stop whereever they are when I turn the switch off. Any help in diagnosing this would be great. Thanks for any help Steve |

Mine does it worst in winter, but even did it the other day. Use the diagrams at www.slhondaparts to see how the plastic (windshield) cowl comes off, then clean up the contacts inside the wiper motor, or swap it out with a low-miler from the wreckers. You may need to replace a few of the plastic plugs since you might snap a few getting them out (if they are like the CR-V). 'Curly' |
