Mine has a bleeder screw at the front of the engine on the thermostat housing. After you warm it up, put a rag under the area and open it a little and let the air out a few times until air stops coming out and the fluid comes out steady. Some systems have 2 bleeder screws, check your book. I thought mine did, but couldn't find the second one where they said it should be located.

Did you bleed the air out of the system?

I need some help. 1990 c4, temp is good when driving but when idling
the temp begins to rise and almost overheats. No leaks, replaced all
seals and gaskets, changed thermostat. Water pump appears to be
working but not well, no leaks from weep holes. Is the pump starting
to fail but no symptoms? What do you think? I plan to change the pump
out this week end, I am wondering if I am overlooking something.

Thanks
Joe

Is this a GM aluminum radiator or aftermarket.

Ummmmm... seems to me you're the one that
brought up sexual experiences with Goats.

Charlie just offered to let you have a romp with
his goat if you desire.... That just shows he has an
open mind, not that he has sex with animals, that
little mental picture came from your mouth....

I had no issues reading the HTML. Perhaps you are technologically
challenged? If your beef is with the extra overhead it creates, your
useless complaining has created much more overhead than the HTML tags.
