That's my speed record too, achieved on an Ohio backroad sometime after
midnight in the 70's, after viewing the movie "American Graffitti"! '69
Corvette, 327/350 hp. Floated the valves when I forgot to shift to 4th - did
the 140 in 3rd gear!

Things happen real quick at that speed.

How many cop cars do you know that can do 160MPH? Most retail passenger
tires will fly apart from centrifugal forces way before then anyway.

Exactly. Although LS1 Camaros will do 165, and I've a few of those as
State troopers, but that's beside the point...
