New lane reduction signs: three dashed lines indicating lane ends
Apparently, the old lane reduction signs with the one straight line on the
left and the angled line on the right were too ambiguous for some drivers. Fair enough. So, there are new lane reduction signs that have a three dashed lane indication along the angled line on the right. I think this is a good improvement--new sign clearly indicates a lane ends type of lane reduction vs. the other sign where the drivers had to figure out the middle of the road was indicated between the straight line on the left and the angled line on the right. |
