black out windows??

Most places, they can make you remove any coating which transmits less than a defined minimum of light through windows. |

In most states you can do pretty much whatever you want to windows behind the driver's location. The side windows at the driver's location usually have limits on darkness, and the front windshield is usually strictly prohibited from any kind of tinting. Doesn't apply to any light trucks like vans, SUVs, or pickups. Most cargo vans don't have windows. |
