Now that looks like something out of the sci-fi pulps of the day, wildly
futuristic in a distinctly '30s sort of way. Beautiful, all the same. -- Skip Middleton www.shadowcatcherimagery.com www.pbase.com/skipm "Leroy Curtis" > wrote in message ... |

More than that, I can't imagine what that would bring at auction. With its
historical impact and provenance, it could set records, if it hasn't already. -- Skip Middleton www.shadowcatcherimagery.com www.pbase.com/skipm "Leroy Curtis" > wrote in message ... > In article >, Paddy's Pig > > writes >> >>"Leroy Curtis" > wrote in message ... >> >>Holy cow! One thing that has me curious is that, seeing how it's currently owned by an
Angleno, why we haven't seen its like before. You'd think it'd be in some show on the West Coast, like, oh, say, Pebble Beach? -- Skip Middleton www.shadowcatcherimagery.com www.pbase.com/skipm "Leroy Curtis" > wrote in message ... |

What a fantastic beast. Nice placement too, it looks like a Bugatti Type 57
on steroids. -- Z~ |

Really? I don't remember seeing it in any of the reports. That is an
outstanding car. Was that the year that Ralph Lauren's Alfa won for best of show? That might explain why this Hisso didn't win overall. I can't imagine what it would take to outpoint this beauty in a concours. -- Skip Middleton www.shadowcatcherimagery.com www.pbase.com/skipm "Leroy Curtis" > wrote in message ... > In article >, Skip > > writes >>One thing that has me curious is that, seeing how it's currently owned by >>an >>Angleno, why we haven't seen its like before.
