It appears to be a rod bearing and my service facility seems to think that
when the first one goes the others are not far behind. Good advice, especially if you plan to drive it like a Corvette. So for
$250 for rods, and around $2000 for other necessary stuff and labor, you will chuck it and buy a $4000 crate motor? Bearings come and bearings go - that's just the nature of the beast.
