Rear Seat Covers
Hello,
I just bought a new 156 JTS with leather seats, I have 2 kids, one 2 years and the other 7 months old and I do want the car seats / kids to ruin my seats, can anyone recommend any rear seat covers? Cheers Steve |

IMHO there's nothing better than the leather for kids! The only trouble is that the child seats WILL put divots in the leather. Unfortunately there is no safe way of preventing this as the base of the child seat needs to be in direct contact with the seat. In an accident the seat drives down and uses friction from the seat squab to reduce impact forces. I have to take my car seat out every day but my back seats are perfect after 2 years abuse from a (now) over 2 year old. -- Z Scotland Alfa Romeo 156 2.4JTD Veloce Leather 'Oil' be seeing you.. Hi Steve, I've got a GTV and a Pajero, both with Leather seats. I bought two seat protectors from Halfords. They are specifically for placing under child seats. (They go behind and under the child seat) They are non slip and actually improve the fit of the car seat as you have probably found out they can often slip around on leather. They cost about £10 each and have stopped me getting those horrible divots on the back seats.. If you need more info I can get the name off them when I get in. I only got one of them last week so your local Halfords should have one. Regards, Steve |
