Egypt
Just spent a week in Cairo/Egypt. I think the worlds production of Pug 504,s
is over there. In Cairo there are still masses of 1600 kombis of all varieties running around . All with the engine bay cover missing or propped open for cooling!. Saw one ~1950,s beetle go past, someone had obviously tried to reset torsion bars ( or one had broken). Was running along seemingly on the right front/left rear tyre and rocking between the left front/right rear touching the ground. No rust anywhere, even on the Fiats, must be the dry climate. John
