Default Insurance Company?

Last week there were some postings about insurance companies that were
collectable friendly, I made a note of them and lost it. Could someone
please repost info on insurance companies.

I missed the original thread, but to throw in my $.02 State Farm is the
only "conventional" insurance company that's any good with classics IME.
Now I've never made a claim so I can't speak to their service there
but otherwise I've been pretty happy.

If you have a completely enclosed, lockable garage (I don't) you may get
better rates with Grundy, JC Taylor, et. al.

I started a thread about American Collectors Insurance.

I'm changing the '72 over this week, $181 a half old insurance versus $97 a
year American Collectors rate.

Before you sign up though, check out Hagerty. Not only are they one of
the best for collectible cars, for an extra $15 a year you get 24 hour
roadside assistance, including flatbed towing if you need it. I figured
since my car is 36 years old, $15 a year is nothing compared to the
peace of mind I get.

Shut up, Dave.
