Just a reminder
Spring is just around the corner, so a little reminder that now is
the time to change the air in the tyres of our Alfa's. Old air results in inferior handling and higher fuel consumption and Alfa recommends air replacement every 20000 km or 12 months, whichever comes sooner. Although it occasionally shows up on eBay at inflated prices, NOS pressurised air (105.64.01.04.20/06) is now very hard to find. However, the modern air provided at many service stations makes an acceptable substitute provided authenticity is not a major concern. Don't forget the spare tyre too! -- Ciao from The Netherlands alfistagj (aka Gert-Jan) GT 2.0 JTS (2005) Montreal 2.6V8 (1428700 - 1973/4) |

My dealer charged me £50. Apparently all the tyres needed flushing out as I had put in "dirty" air from a Supermarket forecourt. All fine now, not sure if I was ripped though? |
