Default Looking for inexpensive power for '99 Suburban

Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend the most bang for the buck for a power
increase in my 1999 Suburban 5.7?

I have been looking at chip programmers for around $400 and superchargers
for around $3500. I don't do much towing. I simply want a bit more passing
power while driving at elevation on grade (over 6000ft and 6% grade). I've
just started my search and am not familiar with the accuracy of the claimed
performance increases for each of these items.

Anyone have some input on these options or have better suggestions?

Thanks,

Kevin
