Giving line cutters what they deserve

IMHO, the best way to "manage" your anger is to let it out immediately. Once it's out of your system it evaporates and is gone. If you gunnysack it, all it does it build up inside you and eat away at your mind until you explode - and then it's ten times worse. That's why if someone ****es me off while I'm driving, I'll immediately vent at them (usually at the top of my lungs); 5 seconds later the incident is forgotten. |

Wow - that is a serious response to a guy slowed your trip down by maybe a 1/10 second? I hope for your sake and other drivers you don't carry a loaded gun or other weapon in your car. Next time someone like that tries to cut you off, instead of wimping out by just flipping him the bird, why not floor it and cut him off. |

Better yet, sentence them to live with "Laura Bush murdered her boyfriend," for a year. That will cure them of their habits. |

Exterminate them. My digital camera has a fully-auto mode, where I just hold the shutter button and it takes 3 pictures/second. I've been, for the past two weeks, been taking series of pictures of bad drivers in action, espescially if they have any kind of employer ID on the vehicle. It seems after 2-3 seconds most LLBs or other bad drivers calm down and stop doing the offending action, since they realize what you're doing. And no, I don't hold the camera to my face, just use my right hand to blindly point it at them and hold the trigger down. It's less distracting than adjusting the volume on the radio. The call to FedEx where I explained I had pictures of one of their drivers tailgating and almost hitting a subcompact was quite fun. I love having spare time, and a great hatred for people who are too stupid to drive. Dave |

I meant to add in the next sentence some comment like: And in the process you can damage both your car and his and possibly injure one or more innocent drivers too. But you could then sue the guy for causing you to become so enraged that you had to give chase and get the upper hand. Or similar. (I think the OP was acting in a highly immature way that put others at risk) |

Whether you have pictures or not, calling to comment on a driver's actions does get noticed. Doug |

Let it go. |

Better to just blow his head off yourself before he has a chance to cause more trouble. OTOH, a gut shot will probably give him time to get off the freeway, or at least over to the side out of everyone's way.
