My TSW2
Hey gang,
I don't mean to spam the group, but considering the wheel it is I thought I should let you know, someone that sees this may very well like to have it. It is one of the original TSW2's, that was produced in their very first production run of them. It is rock solid, and built like a tank. It is still just as smooth and precise as the day I got it. I have taken good care of it, keeping new pots in it - the ones in it now are the good digikeys. I kept the springs lightly oiled, and there is absolutely no sound of the springs moving as the wheel is rotated. One note, the bolt in the clamping mechanism has become stripped in the area it tightened up for my particular desk. This may not be an issue if the buyers desk is different. If it is about the same, then a new clamping mechanism I am sure can be gotten from Thomas Enterprises, or perhaps just the bolt at a hardware store. Also note, it has the standard gameport connection, I do believe Thomas sells usb adapter kits for them though. Anyways, I have it posted on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ADME:B:LC:US:1 My apologies if mentioning it here is frowned on, if it is just let me know and I won't do this again. I am going through and selling some of my older periphs I no longer use. -- Don Burnette |

Heh heh, none in the TSW2.
But, I have an original Logitech Momo FF wheel and pedals , and a Microsoft Sidewinder FF wheel and pedals as well. The FF is very good in both of them. I know some people don't like FF, but now that I have been using it, I don't think I could go back to non FF, hence the selling of the TSW2. -- Don Burnette Mike Beauchamp wrote: > How's the force feedback? > > "Don Burnette" > wrote in message > ... >> Hey gang, >> >> I don't mean to spam the group, but considering the wheel it is I >> thought I should let you know, someone that sees this may very well >> like to have it. >> >> It is one of the original TSW2's, that was produced in their very >> first production run of them. Can't go wrong with that wheel. Lifetime Warranty. Maybe if you check with
them they can send you or the next owner the necessary parts/brackets? Warranty Information The TSW and TSW2 are the only sim-racing controllers with a Lifetime Warranty. The only parts not included in the lifetime warranty are the potentiometers. Potentiometers have only a 90 day warranty. If you ever have a problem with your TSW you can send it back to us and we will promptly repair it and send it back to you, or we will ship you the necessary parts to fix the problem yourself. In addition, we have a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with the TSW for any reason, you can return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund minus shipping costs. -- Asus P4P800E P4 3.0E 1Gig Corsair XMS 3200 AIW 9700 Pro SB Audigy 2 ZX Platinum BRD Speed 7 BRD Rally V2 "Don Burnette" > wrote in message ... > Hey gang, > > I don't mean to spam the group, but considering the wheel it is I thought > I should let you know, someone that sees this may very well like to have > it. > > It is one of the original TSW2's, that was produced in their very first > production run of them. Good point, thanks Tiny.
I think I will email them and see if they can go ahead and send me a replacement bracket so the buyer doesn't have to mess with it. Talk nice to them and you may even be able to get a steering bushing or
pedal hardware to make them like new. Would be a great selling point.
