Default poorly 156 2.0l

had a problem with revs dropping (sometimes stalling)when coming to
standstill, think this may be the lamber sensor. had to put it thru mot
omissions twice to pass. however more serious problem! on pulling away not
going anywhere until revs drop (like a slipping clutch)ok when moving in
3rd & 4th & coming down gears. booked in in the garage for Thursday any
ideas/pointers for my mechanic. Its a selespeed!!!!!!!!
thanks
ps

every 2 months something goes - love my car bur running out of money &
patience
