Default Recommended dealers in Seattle area

I am interested in buying a new BMW 325xi in the next several months. Does
anyone have any recommendations or experience with dealers in the greater
Seattle area?

I only know of three: Bellevue, Seattle, Fife

Any help would be appreciated.

Ed (in Seattle)

I've dealt with all three. I have bought both of my new BMWs from
BMW Bellevue, but shopped all three in '01 when I wanted to order
a 330xi (I had to order because no sunroof...)
1) BMW Bellevue gave me a good price off the bat. Went to extra
effort to find a good deal on my trade-in. Their service dept doesn't
generally give loaners unless it's a warranty repair. Their counter/parts
guys (and gal) are v.good, but they seem to go through many service
advisors. Their advisors seem to have to deal with many assholes;
might be the problem. Lot of MSFT guys/gals buy there (most of them
aren't assholes, btw.)
2) BMW Seattle, I dealt with a frenchman; they were willing - finally -
to meet the Bellevue price, but basically didn't seem interested in
closing the deal. Service dept guys seemed really sharp when I
had my '91 E34 in.
3) BMW Tacoma wasn't willing to deal on price at all. Wouldn't talk
trade at all (at least at a price I wanted.) Wasn't impressed with them.
They are the Mini dealer in the area, FWIW.

Cheapest place was Yakima - they were another % or so cheaper, but
the trade-in was a real problem. Also, there are a few mils less sales
tax in Yakima. However, they don't have much inventory so they
probably have to modify factory orders (takes 2 months, generally,
to get a car that way.)

I do not advise going to Portland - both of the dealers there are assholes.

Floyd
