Now tell us how Laura Bush ran a stop sign in front of witnesses and
killed her ex boy friend and NOTHING was ever done to her!!!! Now
there's special treatment.

If he "hit a trespasser" it doesn't sound like he was recklessly
endangering anyone. If he *missed* the trespasser, then
perhaps.

Are you kidding?
She had to replace the bumper on her car after she she hit that death
trap Corvair the non seat belt wearing retard was driving.
Also, she wasn't under the influence of anything, did have a valid
driver's license, and had no political family, rich or otherwise, as
back up.

Yeah, it was very neat how the cops let an obviously intoxicated Laura
Welch skip her sobriety test! ROTLFMAO!

And she also was not, and still is not, a sitting senator who makes the
laws the rest of us have to obey, while demonstrating a blatent
disregard for those laws already on the books.

Take all the screens you need to show why a member of a middle class Texas
Democrat family got any kind of special treatment 7 years before Laura Lane
Welch met George Bush.

How was it special, when the article YOU posted said:

``As far as we know, no charges were filed,'' said Midland city
attorney Keith Stretcher. ``I don't think it's unusual that charges
weren't filed.''

Read that last sentence again. ``I don't think it's unusual that
charges weren't filed.''

How is that special treatment?

"The vast majority of Americans share our commitment to basic fairness. They
agree that there must be fair rules, that we should not unilaterally abandon or
break those rules in the middle of the game." - Ted Kennedy, speaking about the
possible Republican elimination of the fillibuster tactic.

The latest Ted Kennedy ****-you to the rest of America is his action over the
proposed wind farm. A group spent 5 years planning, studying and getting
government review and input from 18 government agencies and getting tons of
permits and approvals; including filing a 3,800 page environmental impact
statment on the effects of building an wind power plant 5 miles from the coast
of Massachusetts. Kennedy is worried about a handful of tiny smudges on his
beachfront horizon, so without any congressional debate or discussion, he
slipped a provision into a Coast Guard appropriations bill that would allow the
Governor of Massachusetts (an opponent of the wind farm) to unilaterally veto
the construction.

"I strongly support renewable energy, including wind energy, as a means of
reducing our dependence on foreign oil and protecting the environment" - Ted
Kennedy - Aug 8, Cape Cod Times

When is it going to become obvious to everyone with three brain cells to
rub together that those in government, especially those there for a long
time consider themselves ruling elites and us nothing but well sheep at
best, slaves at worst?

Energy is a mechanism of control. Control energy, control the people.
Wind power was just fine when it was pie-in-sky and very low volume at best.
Now, through dedicated effort, it's viable enough to attract investment.
Profitable enough to build. What's the result? Kill wind power
politically, mobilize environmentalists against wind power (chopped up
birds) and sneak in legislation to kill wind power.

Mark my words, the same will occur with ethanol. As the viability of
ethanol increases it will be stomped.

BTW, did you know drunk driver jr, teddy's kid started in politics at age
21. He has never had a real job. The two party 'team' politics must be
dismantled before it is too late.

It's already too late.
