He got what happens when you put testosterone laden kids with undeveloped
driving skills in high performance cars.

Kids simply shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel of such vehicles ( at
least withut specialist training ). It was an accident waiting to happen.

Hey, I didn't make the definition. Like I wrote before, I don't agree
with it, I won't defend it, but it is what it is.

I suspect "open" refers to a REMOVABLE roof. Porsches, Corvettes, etc.
have Targa tops that come completely off, and Miatas, MGs, and Z3s
have convertible tops that fold down.

Notice that the WRX does not have a removable roof, nor does it have 1
or 2 seats. Mustangs, Camaros, Trans Ams, Evos, and WRXs are not
sports cars. Deal with it.

I see that Wikipedia's definition doesn't involve the roof at all.

The best alternative definition available for sporty cars is the GT but
that's a fairly specialised type and then there's the coupe too.
