1990 Honda Accord SX Leak around fuel tank
Leak smells like coolant not gasoline. Just started. Any idea what I am
dealing with? |

If it's genuinely coolant, it's from somebody whose engine was parked over that location prior to you. That's what I did. You'll never know what I found out. My trunk has a
hole in it. I had filled my radiator with coolant earlier. Placed the remaining coolant in the trunk--top was not completely on--you know the rest of the story. Talk about be stupid. Thanks for the reply |

Good to hear it wasn't anything to worry about. That's not stupid. If that hole is not supposed to be there, you may want to put some rust resistant paint (POR15, etc) if there is rust and pop a filler grommet in the hole. Remco |
