Side Air Bags
I am an upholsterer. I have to do inserts on a Honda car. (either a Civic or
Accord) It has "side air bag" tags on the side of the seat back. Is there any special procedure to disable the bags or anything I need to know? Thanks. Perry |

You can find this info in any late model Honda service manual. The side airbag
connectors are all the same, so are the precautions. The worst that can happen is the bag deploys... or your material insert causes a problem with the OPDS (occupant position detection system.) Which will cause the SRS indicator to come on and a DTC to be set. The only way to fix it will be installation of the original seat cover material. Perry Templeton wrote: > I am an upholsterer.
