I eat eggs laid by Free Chicken
I'm not quite up there with the vegetarians, but I try to minimize
meat and most importantly I try to eat eggs laid by Free Chicken. That's a funny concept as we don't know to what extent chicken are "free" like us. They are raised "outside the cage," while we live in democracy and can make all the noise we want and still are in the cage. Then the economics of it make us pause before we eat more eggs. Do they have a cooperative or does the farmer own the means of production? I saw a film that was quite scary and I want to know... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVdlxwX6A7g I know these questions won't bother me anymore when I become a true vegetarian, but in an imperfect world we must do what we can to improve the world, one egg at a time. ---------------------------------------------------------------- http://webspawner.com/users/BANANAREVOLUTION |

The film is rated very highly. The happy ending is naive, of course. There's NO revolution here like in Animal Farm, just escape. Hey, we can escape to Europe where food is not that manipulated. > > == I know these questions won't bother me anymore ... > Then, why should they bother us? > Or, will the answers bother you enough to do something growth-oriented, > and purely selfish; to stop eating cholesterol, and animal fat, and > burnt protein? > Your blood pressure and chols would improve; isn't that big enough > incentive for you? Several more years with your family? True, and several more years fighting the "jungle." Funny, the original book "The Jungle" (1906) was about the food industry. I think it still is a huge part of the manipulation, particularly of children. CHANGE YOUR MIND! I'm more ambitious than changing myself. I want to change the world! WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE (beware of the hungry lion) http://webspawner.com/users/donquijote |

We should hunt the chicken the old fashioned way giving them a chance to escape. We should get up in the morning, bow and arrow, and go hunting. Otherwise we should go gathering berries, like Little Red Riding Hood. Beware of the Wolf! |
