97 Jetta - Wipers won't turn off when engine is running

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this and how to fix appreciated.
I don't want to get screwed by the dealer.

Bad Wiper Switch, Intermittent Wiper Relay, Wiper Motor or Wiring comes to mind
as possible causes.
A Bentley repair manual might give some troubleshooting help. ;-)
