PROBLEM: TIMING BELT BROKE AND THEN THE ENGINE WAS REPEATEDLY TURNDED OVER
QUESTION: WANT TO KNOW IF TURNING THE ENGINE OVER COULD HAVE OR DID BEND
THE VALVES BECAUSE IT'S A DUAL OVERHEAD CAM ENGINE?

I NEED INFORMATION ON A 1988 DUAL OVERHEAD CAM MAZDA ENGINE. IF TIMING BELT
BROKE AND THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OVER NUMEROUS TIMES AFTERWARDS WILL THAT
BEND THE VALVES?

Please turn off the caps lock key, it's considered shouting and is
incredibly rude. You'll also find many people in newsgroups scorefile
any post in all caps so the people most qualified to help may not even
see your post.

You'd need to tell us what engine, what size, year, in what car. If
it's a Miata, it's a non-interference engine so the valves will not be
bent.
