I have never seen a staight eight oldsmobile prior to the L32 engine.
Olds used v8s on some models beginning in 1917 and continued into the
twenties.

Correction, the first year for v8s for Oldsmobile was 1915 not 1917.

Do you have a rebuildable core? This might be the simplest way to go.
Find someone to rebuild the pump. Several companies advertise in
Hemmings Motor News.

You may locate one at a parts swap meet for pre-war cars.

Is your engine eight cylinder???

I have a friend that may have parts that would work.

Email me directly at .

Hi,

I found an interesting abandoned 1923 Olds on the internet at
http://www.confluence.org/confluence...at=46&lon=-105. It looks like
it has the water pump still in the engine. Maybe you could find this
hulk and get the part you want.

On a separate note, I'm looking for a exhaust manifold for a 1923 olds
4 cylinder. Do you know where I can find one?

Thanks, Dean
