2001 CARAVAN headlight issues
Intermittent headlight issues.
Running light operates on left side only, when start vehicle and switch on full headlights, right side light on alone. Replaced both lamps, then switched sides same problem. Some days all works properly and then back to original problem. There is NOT a fuse or relay that I can see designated to the Headlights. This started with the headlight warning light coming on , it disappeared after I replaced what I thought was a faulty lamp, but the problems persist. I'm using the #9007 replacement bulb as recomended. Any help would be much appreciated. |

If you don't have the skills then find or pay someone who does. Bill Putney (To reply by e-mail, replace the last letter of the alphabet in my address with the letter 'x') |

Your statement that "This started with the headlight warning light coming on, it disappeared after I replaced what I thought was a faulty lamp, but the problems persist" supports that possibility. If faults are found it will be easier to start a diagnostic test. In the mean time check the harness that is directly under the battery for corrosion. Glenn Beasley Chrysler Tech |
