Default Help Needed: Thumping Noise From Rear Wheel

<<What does this sound like to you........U-joint problem in the axle
driveshaft?>>
------------------

If the axleshaft becomes harder to turn at 180 degree intervals, then the
problem is probably not a U-joint since the U-joint does not rotate at the
same rate as the axleshaft. I wonder if you have an axle bearing problem or
possibly an issue with the differential. Let us know what the problem turns
out to be. Best of luck.

Huh? You better look at the rear axles on a '63 or later 'vette!

Agree. Probably the wheel bearing.
