Default Kadron Carburetors-Question

I have a Type I with a 1642 DP engine. It has a 110 cam but is otherwise
stock. I have installed dual Kadron-Solex 40 mm carburetors. I am
running a SVDA distributor with Pertronix ignition and coil. It seems to
be running a bit rich. Does anyone have any experience with the jetting
requirements? What size main and pilot jets should I be running. It
currently has whatever came in the kit. thanks for any help.

Jetting is one of those things that takes fiddling with to get it
right. Someone could probably get you "close", but if you want it
"right" you'll get much better results going through it for yourself.
Check out...

....and the other carb pages on that site. At least its a good
explainition of what's involved. I'm definitely not an expert in this
area, but whenever I follow the right procedures, I get good results.

Good luck,
Harry
