One time you were telling us it was so we could steal their oil and get it cheap, now it's so that the price of oil will go up. Will you nutcases PLEASE have a meeting and get your stories straight? What makes you think the oil companys stealing their oil will make it any cheaper for the end purchaser? All it means is even higher profits for the well connected (pun intended) oil industry. Have you been keeping an eye on that lately, or is Rush not reporting it? And we all know Bush has no ties to big oil - right, Larry? |

That's what the anti-war, anti-bush people kept telling us before the war. Obviously with oil > $50 a barrel for quite a while, that's not happening. > All it means is even higher profits for the well connected (pun intended) > oil industry. Not with oil at > $50 a barrell. > Have you been keeping an eye on that lately, or is Rush not > reporting it? Sorry, your assumptions wrong. I don't listen to Rush. I find monologue shows boring. > And we all know Bush has no ties to big oil - right, Larry? All politicians have ties to something. But that's a strawman. The point is the anti-bush, anti-war people totally changed their tune in the false "war for oil" concept once they saw their first theory was dead wrong. First it was so oil would be cheap, now it's because oil is high priced. Pick your nutty theory and stick with it, would ya? |
