to people from Germany

Hello!

I am going to my friends to Germany. I live in Poland.
It will be my first road trip to Germany by car.

I have a few question to German people
1) in Poland you have to have turn on light also during a day when sun is
shining. Is it the same in Germany?
2) what is the speed limit for driving in urban area? How to recognize such
urban area? Is it the same sign all over the world?
3) can you give me a link to a road sign picture which let me know if there
is "speed check" and to the image of foto-radar which are on the German
area?

Can you write me some other advices which would be useful on driving in
Germany?
