Default high revs and overheating

my 1996 2litre mazda 626 is overheating after driving for 5 mins.water
leaking from overflow hose.internal heater blowing cold air.revs 2000 from
starting-although can fluctuate while driving (1500-2000).no water loss
from resevoir.heater hoses cold when engine hot.fan working fine. HELP!!!

Faulty thermostat. Easy and cheap to fix.
