Warner Bros. Studios Collection - File 1 of 2 - yEnc "warner01.jpg" 256441 bytes (0/3)
These are photos of some of the vehicles (189 cars & trucks and 1 boat)that
were purchased from Warner Bros. Studios in the early 1970's and sold from a warehouse in North Hollywood, CA. A single ad was run in Hemmings Motor News and people came from around the world to see and buy these cars. A few were unsold after the 2-month lease expired on the warehouse and were driven to San Diego where they were sold. The 1938 Cadillac Town Car pictured was my personal driver for a couple of months untii I traded it for a Silver Wraith Rolls. The one car I kept waas a 1957 Mercury Montclair convertible that was used in the movie Viva Las Vegas. No, I do not still have it. |

Great photos, Postum. I'd have chosen the 38 Cadillac too, I think, and can
certainly imagine picking the 57 Merc convertible. Do you have any pictures of these and any other of your cars to share? I'd love to see more of both of these. Max -
Sorry. I happenend to have my Polaroid with me one day and these are the only photos that were ever taken that I an aware of except those by the visitors. I anyone wants I'll be glad to scan and post the full size versions. I've been out of the car field for quite a while now but may have a few photos of some other cars. If I run across them, I'll put them up. - Dick "MagisterMax" > wrote in news:7todh.17415$YV4.8355@edtnps89: > Great photos, Postum. Hi Dick, Seeing that you're offering to post the larger size, yes please.
I'll be looking for them and I know there are lots of others who will be interested as well. Thanks in advance. Max "Postum" > wrote in message ... > Max - > > Sorry.
