It's a 1949 Chrysler. I can't see any holes on the front fender that would be there if it were a New Yorker. Most probably a Windsor their second most sales leader and more four doors would be available. The chrome trim would be almost the same on all but the cheapest Royal model The production numbers for 49 lineup as follows.
