Mexican driver planned to flee to Mexico after fatal crash

California law does not discriminate against criminals. Everybody who applies for a California drivers license now has to sign a statement that he/she knows that they might kill somebody if they drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Previously, only people who had been convicted of DUI had to sign that statement. Citizens of California can thank drunken Mexicans for their part in causing such a law to be passed. |
