Default Removing the armrest

I have a 2002 jetta TDI and the armrest between the two seats appears
to be coming loose. It no longer stays in place when you adjust it
and there is a gap between the two sides, as if the bolts are
loosening.

Anyone know how to tighten this back up?

Not uncommon. There is a fix. You have to take it apart and drill
two small holes and put some screws in. The dealer has a TSB that
shows how to do it. They should show it to you and give you a copy.
Takes 15 minutes.
Good luck.
