Alfa 155 windshield wiper trouble
Hi!
I have a problem with my Alfa 155 (1994). My windshield wiper has broken of, just above the place where it is attached to the little motor. I would like to move my other windshield wiper there, but I don't know how to get it of. To be exact: it's not the blade, it's the actual wiper-arm. Anybody know how to get this of? Thanks! Hi Geert,
I do not know which type are fitted to the 155, but if there is a plastic cover on the end nearest the motor, you can lift the cover off from the rounded end, it usually is a hinge type. plus it may have a 15/18mm round black plastic cover over the nut Under the cover you will find a nut to release, [I think 13mm + or - 1mm ] after you take off the nut sometimes if you move the arm side to side it will come loose then just lift off. If not get a large screwdriver and with care use as a lever to lift it up off it's splined shaft. This was the type fitted to the 146 so it may be the same type. Good luck. John, UK. |
