Default New '05 Mustangs/Cheap Warranty!??

The US warranty really sucks, imho. 3yr/36k mile basic & powertrain and 60
months corrosion!??

A 2yr lease would be the ticket... if it was available.

The new mustang doesn't amount to much with such a cheap warranty.

YMMV,

Andy

Depending on whom you ask, either 55 or 59 M of them voted last Tuesday!

Saw my first '05 today at lunch. Beautiful yellow GT w/standard transmission.
My '01 GT looked like dog food parked next to it.

Kinda OT but my dealer in SoCal told me there are no 5spd GT's or V6's until
early 05 or around the same time the verts come in. Is there any truth to
that?

I actually told him to call me when a 5spd came in and he wasn't interested.
BTW....they wanted 3k over sticker for a V6 and no test drive is allowed.
I laughed at him......oh wait.....that's probably why he didn't want my
phone number.

Only idiots are going to buy those cars when the dealerships have attitudes
like that.

Wow. I'm pretty sure it was a manual stick I saw in this car (I didn't look
for a clutch). It didn't look like a automatic shifter. I could be wrong on
that.

No test drive = no sale.

I see no flame...but you were obviously looking for it.

At what does that make you lame?

I can't really recall what our '66 coupe had for a factory warranty, but
it wasn't that good... and it was getting rusty when we traded it in
for $300.00 towards a new Torino in 1973 ($3,200.00 new!).
