Alfa 166
Hi!
Recently I bought used Alfa 166. Few days ago I discovered that both rear windows do not work. Is there a option to disable this function like child security for doors? If not, where should I start? Fuses, relays etc. Any recommendations welcome. Regards. |

If it's like every other car I've owned, there will be a switch to turn them on and off. -- Steve H 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' http://www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - MZ ETZ300 Alfa 75 TSpark - Passat 1.8T - Golf Cabrio - COSOC KOTL BoTAFOT #87 - BoTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |

But the position of the button seems to me to be counter-inuitive to its operation; when the button is in the sticking-out position (sorry to be so technical) the rear switches are disabled; putting it in the depressed position re-enables the rear switches. Actually, that sounds all right now that I've typed it out; so maybe I've got it the wrong way round. Incidentally, my wife's car has the window switches on the centre console - so both of us complain that each other's car has them in the wrong position. But of course, it's her switches that are in the wrong position... Halmyre |
