85 Blazer 2.8 to 5.0 conversion - posible?
I have an 85 Blazer with a 2.8 V-6 in it. I live in a city with a lot
of hills, so this setup isn't working for me right now. I've heard of Blazers with a 305 in them. I don't know much about cars, so I was wondering if a 305 would fit in there, if I'd need to change a bunch of stuff with my tranny around or what. It's a 4x4 so... if you have any suggestions, please enlighten me |

A 305/350 will definitely fit and can be smog legal, but does require some modifications that are spelled out in the manual. If you are serious about doing the swap, this will be money well spent.
