The Dutch ride even ****tier bicycles that they bought for $15 at a flea market where stolen bicycles are sold. Of course, it will soon be re-stolen, but for $15, they can afford it. How new bicycles get into the system is uncertain, though I suspect that it's mostly by Americans moving to the country and buying a few new bicycles (quickly stolen) before someone informs them of the system. -- The problem with socialism is there's always someone with less ability and more need. |

So? South Beach is like that but I don't leave my cycles out there more than 2 minutes. Solution: folding bikes or stay with it. |
