Very nice series, Peter. Where was this place ? I see bleachers, like in a
sports arena or race track. You camera's color registration is magnificent.
In one photo the reflection looks like you had a lens attachment and that the
LCD screen is flip and reverse. Is it a Canon ?

Thanks Doby. Nice to hear from you. The event was a swap meet and car show
at the Tucson drag strip. If we had driven down from here I would have been
in touch with you before we left and made a detour to Phoenix to say hello
on our way.....but we flew. I wish we were still down there (a) because the
weather here is dreary and downright miserable. and (b) I would have liked
to attend the NASCAR truck race this weekend at PIR ( I'm Johnny Benson
fan).....but had to get back here unfortunately. The trip to Tucson was
mostly a working holiday.

That's my old Canon G3...the one I had when I went with you to Impala Bob's
and the Glendale Community College show for prostate cancer research. The
lens attachment is simply to allow the use of filters. The swivel screen is
no longer offered on the G series of Canon cameras, Mine was damaged in
Death Valley a couple of years ago and the old camera is in need of a
replacement because the shutter button works intermittently....so every shot
takes a long time before I can get lucky and get the shutter to
work.....kinda like my.....well never mind I won't go there :>)

Take care Doby....win any dance contests lately?....... ))

I now go dancing on Monday and Wednesday PMs and Friday nights in Sun City.
It's a bit of a drive but the ballroom is large and usually 150 to 280 in
attendance. It's from 7PM to 10PM with a ½ hour break midway. I dance every
set (consists of 2 or 3 songs) and love it. I have several ladies that ask me so
it really keeps me going. They have bigger bands in the winter months and it's
more like I was used to when I lived back in Iowa and we had all of the big
bands crossing the from NY to LA and back so different ones each week. My
weight is quite under control and so is my blood pressure now. It took 3 years
but it was worth it.

Hope your health is under control.
