Default Exhaust system for 2007 GT *************

Hey I would like to get an exhaust system to get a deeper, throatier
sound out of my GT. I see where Ford Racing has 2 systems around $300
which basically just replace from the convertor to the rear. One is
legal in 49 states the other 50 states.

I don't know if these are the best options, but any suggestions would
be great. I'm not looking to replace the entire system and would like
to stay under $500.

Thanks.

I have the FRPP "Borla Stingers" on my 05 and love 'em. Nice deep sound. But
if you are drone concious they are not the ones for you.

Sorry, but wha do you mean "drone conscious"? Is it a constant noise
or something?

Drone is a constant low bass rumble that can tend to give you a
headache or earache over time.

I had a bassani x-pipe and mufflers in my 01 Cobra and the droning was
terrible.

Yeah, doens't sound good. I have to drive this car a lot every day so
I want the deep sound when I start the car or step on it, but not
where I can't have a conversation in the car or wish the constant
noise was gone.

Any other products out there which would be a good choice???

Thanks.

I suppose that would depend on how loud you want it. I have the Roush
exhaust on my 06 Stage 3 and it sounds nice but its not very loud. On
the plus side I can hear the radio :-).

A popular option is flowmasters, but I don't know about the drone
factor. I think they give a more traditional old car sound, but aren't
too bad on the drone.
