Exhaust system for 2007 GT *************
Hey I would like to get an exhaust system to get a deeper, throatier
sound out of my GT. I see where Ford Racing has 2 systems around $300 which basically just replace from the convertor to the rear. One is legal in 49 states the other 50 states. I don't know if these are the best options, but any suggestions would be great. I'm not looking to replace the entire system and would like to stay under $500. Thanks. |

I have the FRPP "Borla Stingers" on my 05 and love 'em. Nice deep sound. But
if you are drone concious they are not the ones for you. "Joe Cool" > wrote in message ... > Hey I would like to get an exhaust system to get a deeper, throatier > sound out of my GT. Sorry, but wha do you mean "drone conscious"? Is it a constant noise
or something? On Wed, 20 Dec 2006 09:14:00 -0600, "Hawgman" > wrote: >I have the FRPP "Borla Stingers" on my 05 and love 'em. Nice deep sound. Drone is a constant low bass rumble that can tend to give you a
headache or earache over time. I had a bassani x-pipe and mufflers in my 01 Cobra and the droning was terrible. Joe Cool wrote: > Sorry, but wha do you mean "drone conscious"? Yeah, doens't sound good. I have to drive this car a lot every day so
I want the deep sound when I start the car or step on it, but not where I can't have a conversation in the car or wish the constant noise was gone. Any other products out there which would be a good choice??? Thanks. I suppose that would depend on how loud you want it. I have the Roush
exhaust on my 06 Stage 3 and it sounds nice but its not very loud. On the plus side I can hear the radio :-). A popular option is flowmasters, but I don't know about the drone factor. I think they give a more traditional old car sound, but aren't too bad on the drone. Joe Cool wrote: > Yeah, doens't sound good.
