Any news on the Brera - is it going into production and will I ever be able
to afford one!

A well known italian car magazine says it will be available at begining
2006.

The Brera concept was fantastic - huge long doors, and no rear side window.
It was individual. Then for the production version they put in shorter
doors, a rear side window, and the eventual design looks like a 157 with a
hatchback. Overall a pale imitation of the original design.

Oh, and the engines will come from GM.
Buy a 916 GTV while you can still get Alfa Romeo worthy of the name.
