97 civic clutch won't engage

Default 97 civic clutch won't engage

my clutch won't engage in any gear. when letting clutch out i feel a slight
vibration when fully engaged (car will creep slightly in reverse)just
bought the car and it has 117k onit. don't have much history on car but do
know it recieved regular maint. at honda dealership. any help would be
greatly appreciated!

I think all faults with the hydraulic system (clutch master, clutch
slave and fluid level) would impact disengagement not engagement. Is
that not right?

Default 97 civic clutch won't engage

I think your right Frank.I talked with Honda dealer yesterday and they
believe it is the clutch disk or throw out bearing. They don't believe it
has anything to do with the slave or master cylinder. I always thought
clutches would begin slipping but apparently not.
