Default GTL - NO TECH SUPPORT IN US

Bought GTL, installed it, Starforce and all, and tried to run it. When I
clicked the drive button, the game just dropped to desktop. Every track,
every time I tried. Since all my drivers were up-to-date, and every other
game I own doesn't have a problem, I went to the website for the game and
looked for "technical support". It said, send an email to Viva. I did .....
no reply. I sent another ..... no reply. It's now two weeks, and I've sent
yet another, but no reply.

Some people have no problem with the game, a lot of others do. Good luck
getting any after-sale support if you're one of the unlucky ones.

The GTL forum here
http://www.gtr-game.com/forums/index...showf orum=36

And the forum here - http://forum.rscnet.org/forumdisplay.php?f=916

Hope this helps.

Andi.

Jock.

Sounds exactly like mine, it was my Anitvirus (Computer Associates, via
yahoo/SBC dsl account). Had to create an Exception or rule for the exe, in
the antivurus program, runs great. (another proof without the
rule/exception) is to stop the AV for a second while you "test" the game
will run or not... then correct the AV, so you dont have to disable the AV
altogether to play...

Hey Plow I would suggest removing that crap from your PC. It really is the
worst AV code Ive ever used. Try Grisoft AVGFree.

Dear Jock,

Your posit - 'Good luck
getting any after-sale support if you're one of the unlucky ones. 'I
assume is offering a measure of solace to those cerebrally challenged
others among us?

Lord I apologize, but...

Ludwig - Do you ever have a problem with snagging your nose on low-slung
tree branches?

computer...

Occasionally Laurence, when on horseback or open topped touring bus.
But only when I'm catatonic, chemically euphoric or excessively imbibed.

just because all your other games run, it doesn't mean that there isn't
something wrong with your pc. check all your drivers again.
