Strattus with check engine light on
I just had several hundred $ work done on the 99 Stratus with about 90K
miles on the V-6 engine. Among other things they "flushed" the injectors. Three days later the check engine light is on and the dealer wants to replace the injectors. Am I being scammed by my dealer? The engine runs fine and no apparent loss of mileage or power. Plus my local mechanic told me that Dodge has changed to codes on the computer so he can't work on it now. Could they have fouled one of the sensors ( 02 etc) with their magical injector flush job? Can I reset the check engine indicator my self? How? -- Richard N. Price |

Dealer did not say just offered to r&r the injectors.
Is there a product I can put into the gas/oil or air intake to try and clean the injectors again? So many 98 cent bottles on the wall it is hard to choose. I'd be willing to go up to $5.00 if it comes highly recommended. -- Richard N.
