How can I install 2 extra power outlets?
Hi, I have a honda element EX and I am trying to add not 1 , but 2
extra power outlets, so I can make a behind the dash connection to Ipod and Sirius radio. I know I can do one extra with the add a fuse thing. Can I do 2 extras? How? Thanks so much! |

How can I install 2 extra power outlets?
You could buy a couple outlet like most newer vehicles have, I believe
they both connect to one 12v power source in the back. Not 100% sure on that but on my old blazer they did. http://www.carforums.net/ Auto Forums |

How can I install 2 extra power outlets?
Napa has power outlets that you can buy and install wherever you want.
You will have to wire them up. |

Don't bother adding another fuse - the load posed by an iPod and Sirius is pretty small, probably on the order of 1A, and sharing wiring with an existing outlet isn't likely to damage anything. -Andrew |
